We have more than 25 years of experience performing wisdom teeth surgery and grafting. Since 2001 we recomend and use grownth factors from the own patient to promote faster healing and decrease postoperative pain.
Wisdom teeth, or third molars, are the last adult teeth to erupt, or enter the mouth. Most people have four wisdom teeth, one on each quadrant after the second molar. Third molars are considered to be “impacted” when they don't have enough room to emerge or grow normally.
Wisdom teeth can be removed in just one appointment that usually takes 45 minutes to one hour (some cases could take longer time)
Problems associated with impacted third molars:
Infection
Damage to neighboring teeth and tissues
Tooth decay
Periodontal disease
Receding gums
Loosened teeth
Bone loss
Tooth loss
Jaw weakening
Development of associated cysts and tumors
Interference with needed dental treatments
